Devil's Tramping Ground

Directions


The Devil's Tramping Ground is roughly 10 miles south of Siler City
and somewhat hard to find if you don't have good directions. From Siler City take
US421 south then go R on NC 902. Drive @ 7 miles to Harpers Crossroads and
turn R on SR 1106, then immediately turn L on SR 1100. Go 1.7 miles until you see a pull off
gravel parking area on the left. The Tramping Ground is @ 150 feet down a small path.

Another route is to take SR 1106 south from Siler City and go about 10 miles.
This road will intersect with SR 1100 at Harpers Crossroads. Go R 1.7 miles
and the gravel pull off will be on the left.

Litter has been a serious problem at the Tramping Ground, so PLEASE try and keep
it clean if you can. If you don't have time to pick up any trash that is there
already, then at least do not leave any more. The Devil's Tramping Ground
is on private property and should be respected.
